Mumbai cruise drugs case: NCB arrests ‘drug supplier’ who allegedly has links with Aryan Khan | Hindi Movie News – Bollywood

Trouble seems to be mounting for Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan as the Narcotics Control Bureau has arrested one Shreyas Nair from Goregaon in connection with the Mumbai cruise drugs case. According to a news agency, Shreyas has alleged links with Aryan Khan. Earlier today, Aryan Khan and seven other accused were sent to NCB’s custody till October 7 by a Mumbai court. However, the investigative agency had sought custody till October 11. During the hearing, the NCB said that it needed time ‘for proper investigation to unearth links and nexus with suppliers’. The agency also alleged that they have found evidence on Aryan’s phone. According to some reports, the agency told the court that the Whatsapp chats found in Aryan’s phone point to an international racket. However, Aryan Khan’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde while arguing against his remand stated that, ‘Mere chatting on the phone without corroboration doesn’t make an offence.’ Now while talking exclusively to ETimes NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede revealed, ‘We asked for custody of Aryan Khan because there’s still a lot more left to investigate in the case. A lot of new arrests have happened, where we have caught drug peddlers who used to supply illegal substances to parties. During these arrests we’ve found links to the dark web and Bitcoin as well. We have recovered drugs in commercial quantities. The quantum of the case has become more serious, therefore we need to investigate further.’ However, on being asked if the agency has any evidence which establishes Aryan Khan’s direct involvement, Wankhede said, ”I cannot make any claims prematurely. I need to first investigate and once we conclude our investigations, we’ll be able to address these matters. That’s precisely why we requested the honourable court for custody and the court granted us four days’ custody.’ However, after the hearing, one of the co-accused Arbaaz Seth Merchantt’s lawyer reiterated that they were not invited by the organiser and they didn’t even board the said ship.
